Artist Diana Gibson will be donating an orginal plein air oil painting to Skylands CLEAN. Skylands CLEAN turns twenty this year and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a silent auction/fund raiser. This event will take place on October 13th at the Regency House in Pompton Plains, NJ. Founded in 1987, Skylands CLEAN, Inc. works in the public interest to promote good government and protect the environment, quality of life, and essential character of the New Jersey Highlands region. Diana’s painting, “Autumn in the Catskills-en plein air”, was awarded the Gamblin Artists Colors Oil Paint Award by Stephen Doherty, editor of American Artist Magazine.  “With over 161 paintings in the show, and 27 prizes to be awarded, it was quite an honor to be recognized.” quotes Ms. Gibson. ”There are several gorgeous pictures in the show so I certainly feel lucky to be among the top award winners!  I have already set my sights on next year’s show.  There is a grand prize to be won!  With some hard work and a little luck, who knows!  We’ll just have to wait and see!”
