Diana K Gibson receives award at the Ridgewood Art Institute’s 27 Annual Regional Juried Show

Diana’s painting, “Autumn in the Catskills-en plein air”, was awarded the Gamblin Artists Colors Oil Paint Award by Stephen Doherty, editor of American Artist Magazine. “With over 161 paintings in the show, and 27 prizes to be awarded, it was quite an honor to be recognized.” quotes Ms. Gibson. ”There are several gorgeous pictures in the show so I certainly feel lucky to be among the top award winners! I have already set my sights on next year’s show. There is a grand prize to be won! With some hard work and a little luck, who knows! We’ll just have to wait and see!”
